It's Cyrus! So it was Cyrus of Team Galatic coming through the door. Who woulda thought?! I seem to like to throw you readers out of no where surprizes, but I don't know if that's a good thing or not. The game says that Cyrus is 28. (Twenty-eight, really? You sure . . .?) My Cyrus is a bit older, like around Giovanni's age. While drawing this page and thinking about how I was making him older to match Giovanni, I was like, "I shoulda made Giovanni younger to match Cyrus!" That would have been more fun for me, but Giovanni's already been established so it'd be too hard to change. And there are story elements that wouldn't make as much sense if they were younger, so we're sticking to the age I have them at. Man . . . I like how Cyrus came out though. I wasn't sure what clothes to draw him in. In "Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Adventures" by Shigekatsu Ihara, there's a scene with Cyrus wearing a suit. I thought about doing the same, but I thought it'd be more fun to have him wearing something else. I gave him my own take on the Galatic uniform it seems, although I just through in that "G" so it'd be clear he was really there for Galatic and that he wasn't part of Team Rocket or something. I guess it works because he's there on Galatic business . . . or something. Plus, I can't draw suits very well anyway. Just look at poor Giovanni! By the way, I'm still updating Just Mewtwo this week because I really, really don't want to skip a week on it. I've kept up a strip per week for a while and I don't want to fall behind! So you did get some sort of update, I guess. 'Sides, it was only three panels so it was quick and easy. Heh, enjoy. |

Wow, first comment. I thought people would've been all over this one. I guess they saw Just Gotta and didn't check here. I thought Cyrus was supposed to be older, too. I guess he just looks old in the games. |

he looks like he's in his 50s in the game. i could've gotten first, didn't feel like there was anything to comment about. no insult meant. |

O.O didn't expect to see this until tomorrow.. ;D Anyway, Cyrus looks awesome ~ *plots to kidnap him* I didn't comment earlier as I got kidnapped myself ~ by a old friend I've known since we were kids, so it was great catching up with her :D.. still... >.< |

spudwalt: Maybe they didn't check it. When you have an account and add a comic to your favorites, it tells you when they update. But then I guess not all Just Gotta readers have favorited Just Mewtwo. Only about a third of them have. It really surprised me when I read on Bulbapedia that he was 28. I was like, " . . . Huh?" It then says it in Platinum. Yeah, he looks older. Maybe we just don't get a good look at him. DragonhandX: I don't know if I'd say 50's, but pretty up there, yeah. And no offense taken. I don't expect you guys to comment on every page. BlackCatz: I will protect you, Cyrus! Catching up with old friends is fun, so I guess it was an all right trade. Heh. the being: Thank you. I quite like how it came out too. Just worked out nicely somehow. |

Cyrus actually looks younger here. He looked like he was in his 80s! *Hahaha! I'm making a new- Heart attack* I wonder what Cyrus looked like as a kid? |

i was thinking of saying "he looked like himself when he was a kid," for the smart-ass answer and "to your own conception." for the actual answer. i'm gonna feel that later. and how was i going to lower your pokemon's dignity? and BlackCatz, *turns into lucario, uses aura sphere, turns into shedinja wearing some sort of sash, uses double team.* |

Huh, I don't know what he'd look like as a kid. Maybe I should do a flashback. Heh heh. DragonhandX: I think it may have been more of a retorhical question. I think BlackCatz just thought you were being rude in general but didn't want to use Pokemon to handle rudeness. . . . Or something. BlackCatz: Fan art would be fun. I think I may also do a flashback at some point. At least with Giovanni and Cyrus as teenagers. I don't know for sure though, so we'll see. |
