Lazy background, sorry . . . I wanted Giovanni's office to look kinda fancy, but didn't really know how to pull that off and didn't really have the motivation to do much more with it anyway. I apologize for it. I mean, it doesn't look too bad to me, but it's not really that much. The last panel was rushed as I didn't have time to do more with it before I needed to ink it and scan it in. As such, I didn't really play with the perspective and so it looks off. I need to get a buffer back. You know what? I don't think Sird's name has been mentioned in the comic before . . . Whoops. While on Sird, what struck me about Sird in Pokemon Adventures was her extreme loyalty to Giovanni. It's what made me like her so much. For Just Mewtwo though, she's become more of his babysitter, which I also like and find funny. It's fun to play around with characters I guess. An online friend introduced me to Team Four Star's Dragon Ball Z Abridged Series. It's freakin' hilarious and I've been watching videos over and over again. I had the idea for this page before seeing the series, but while drawing it, I kept hearing Guru saying, "Naaaiill!" Then I kept laughing. Heh. Good times, good times . . . Edit: Oh, I did use her name when she first appeared. Go me. |

I dunno... The image of Giovanni whining instead of being all competent is just kinda wierd for me. I guess this is what some of your readers are going through over your versions of the legendaries. @ BlackCatz: I'd say it was "anonymous". |

spudwalt: That's more or less the idea. Although some characters will maintain certain aspects of their established personalities, for the most part I give them all my own spin. Giovanni is no different. I'm not good at using characters that aren't mine, so I make every character my own in one way or another. It just how I operate. I don't like sit and think about how odd or different I can make the character though. They more or less just develop on their own in my imagination. This is just how Giovanni ended up. BlackCatz: Yeah, I suppose. Just seems like DragonhandX used too many syllables for it to ominous. At least that's how it seemed to me. I don't know for sure. |

Giovanni should just invite the 'Gotta' world's version of Ash or Red or whomever over for tea and make them battle Mewtwo :3 If said kids are still too young, he could always abduct Lance. |

DragonhandX: That still wouldn't help him be the one to use him though. amjam: There isn't an Ash in the Just Gotta world, but I didn't consider Red. Red is awesome. I have no plans for using him, but maybe he'll cameo or somethin'. Red would be a good one to test against, yep. Ha ha, abduct Lance. That'd be one way to do it too. spudwalt: Yep, no Ash, but Red, maybe. I like Red. |
