There I go borrowing images again . . .
I got the second panel image off a website, if you couldn't tell. It's a bit harder to get away with stuff like that in Just Mewtwo as Manga Studio imports the image as grayscale. I don't think this one turned out too bad though. I think there is a way to get it to keep the color, but I can't remember what it is.

I have learned a few new tricks lately that have made things a bit easier as far as coloring goes, which is nice. I keep learning more and more about Manga Studio but it still seems like I'm not using it to it's fullest. Still love the program either way so I guess that doesn't matter really. Just gotta, (heh,) keep experimenting and learning.

I noticed something funny. At least to me it is. In Pokémon Adventures, if you've read it, in Volume 2, Giovanni is observing Red by pretending to be a researcher. While traveling together and he's acting all nice and stuff, he tells Red, "You're a bundle of energy, aren't you, Red?" Ha ha, I hadn't read the volume for a while so when I saw that, I just chuckled because that's what Giovanni said about Mewtwo on the last page.

I thought it was cool anyway.

I'm going to turn this comment into a long one, but I don't care. The secon panel where Blaine talks about not writing a personality into D.N.A. comes from my belief that a person's personality mainly comes from how they are raised and stuff. I'm a nuture over nature person. Genentics may effect a personality a little bit like if there are actual defects, but mainly, I think it comes down to how you are raised and what decisions you make. You are free to agree or disagree with me if you'd like. Won't effect me none.

. . . What is Blaine's title? He's always just referred to as "Blaine" as far as I can remember. He's gotta be like a Professor at least. I'm leaning more on Doctor, but I dunno. And is Blaine his first or his last name? Whatever the case, I will probably just keep calling him Blaine.

Okay, I'm done now.

Awe.... Mewtwo es cute X3. DON'T CHANGE HIM GIOVANNI!! D:<

DragonhandX, 03 Apr 2009 10:18 pm

i do believe that environment shapes your personality as well. but genetics also shape your reactions which help shape your personality.

giovanni, i have a lvl 78 lapras and i'm not afraid to use her, so don't suggest changing him.

in all the dna pics that i have seen none of them had rods, they usually had gaps somewhere.

GYOSHI, 03 Apr 2009 11:04 pm

D: dun change mewtwo we lurv him after DragonhandX uses lapras *sends out Rhyperior* D:<

DragonhandX, 03 Apr 2009 11:55 pm

remember, water is one of giovanni's worst nightmare >:D persian will be the only trouble.

Vye Brante, 04 Apr 2009 02:12 am

Illustrator: Yep, he's cute all right. We'll have to see if Giovanni listens to you. Heh.

DragonhandX: Genetics have an impact, yeah. I think the majority though is just how they are rasied, and yeah, enviroment. (I couldn't think of that word earlier. Thank you.) It's just some of each, I guess.

This one has gaps between the rod things, so I don't know what you mean . . .

Heh, yeah, a Lapras would be a problem for some of Giovanni's Pokemon. The Persian though . . . well, at this point, I can say with 95% assurity that my Giovanni does NOT have a Persian. "Blasphemy!" some might say . . . Persian is all iconic of Giovanni and junk. But I just can't take that Persian seriously and it just doesn't seem to fit. If it doesn't work for me, it won't work for the comic so might as well just leave it out, I'd say.

Sird has a Persian though. She does in Pokemon Advetures so I'm pretty sure I'm letting her keep it.

GYOSHI: Another plea to keep Mewtwo the way he is, huh? We'll see if it helps.

Yep. Nurture, not nature, that's definitely how I see it.

Heh, now we're getting text-based diagrams of DNA. The internet truly is a wondrous place.

DragonhandX, 05 Apr 2009 03:46 pm

why don't you register spudwalt?

nuu! don't change Mewtwo, Giovanni. If you do, i'll send Magic the Magikarp to use Hyper Beam on you!

DragonhandX, 06 Apr 2009 04:03 pm

can magikarp even learn hyper beam? i'm too lazy to check. i know that at lvl 50 he learns hydro pump.

spudwalt (Guest), 06 Apr 2009 05:41 pm

Actually, Magikarp can't learn Hyper Beam, Hydro Pump, or any other move besides Splash (from the start), Tackle (Lv. 15), and Flail (Lv. 30). No breeding moves, no Move Tutors, nada. It can't even use any TMs or HMs. So, if a Magikarp actually knew Hyper Beam, Magic would be a pretty good nickname for it.

This just goes to show how much of a colossal nerd I am.

@DragonhandX: I haven't registered mainly because I feel like I have to contribute something to any website I register for (i.e. draw a comic). Since my artistic skills/creativity are practically nil, this would present a problem. Besides, I can leave comments on things just fine as a guest.

DragonhandX, 06 Apr 2009 06:02 pm

..........*checks* wow, guess i'm wrong. who cares if you're a nerd? i don't. the name for a magikarp knowing hb is 'hacked'

Phoenix of Chaos (Guest), 07 Apr 2009 07:29 am

Let's put it this way. Mewtwo = one of the strongest pokémon. I have a Docile Palkia. GO FIGURE.

Vye Brante, 09 Apr 2009 03:30 pm

DragonhandX: Oh, I see what you mean. I actually don't think I've seen pictures like that . . . So that's interesting.

And yeah, Magikarp can't learn didly.

spudwalt: Heh, yeah, the Internet is interesting. Yay for nurture!

I wondered why you didn't register myself. I guess that makes sense. And I knew that Magikarp can't learn anything else too, so we're all nerds together.

digi300: Heh, more pleading. We'll just hope it helps.

That is indeed a magic Magikarp.

Phoenix of Chaos: Heh, yeah, the natures of Pokemon don't seem to all fit the established personas either.
