There he is! Giovanni finally appears! This comic has been up, what, like a year and a half or something? And Giovanni is just barely appearing? Dang! Looks like he brought a friend too. Readers of the Pokemon Adventures manga may recognize her, Sird from the Three Beasts. When I read the FireRed and LeafGreen parts I have, I fell absolutely in love with her character. (Not like love love, but more like a holy-crap-what-a-cool-character love.) She keeps more of her same personality here, unlike Giovanni . . . I always pictured Sird with reddish hair, and thought I had seen a colored picture of her with such hair, but I couldn't find it. On Serebii, her sprite has purpleish or blueish hair. After a little thought, I decided that it was my comic so I could do what I wanted! Heh heh! Along those lines, sort of, I don't know if Orm or Carr will appear yet. I kind of doubt it. I didn't like them as much as Sird. Yay for long comments! I always thought that Giovanni would appear in Just Mewtwo before he did in Just Gotta, but because Just Mewtwo was getting updated so scarcely, he ended up appearing in Just Gotta first. It was the opposite for Sird. I thought she'd be in Just Gotta first, but I decided to bump her appearance here in Just Mewtwo up so now she's here first. Anyways, I want to go back to updating Just Mewtwo on Fridays. I have a bit of buffer drawn so hopefully I can get back to steady updates. We'll see how I do! |

Oranges_and_Pears: Yep! Illustrator: The manga themselves are only available in the U.S. up until volume 7. But I guess Serebii has some summaries and character bios and stuff . . . I actually own the books. I bought them off of eBay. I have the first seven and then 24-27. (What? Mewtwo was in those volumes. I needed them for . . . references?) You can probably find scans somewhere online though. . . . Rambling, sorry. |
